Villa Athina provided a delightful experience for senior guests like myself. The villa's traditional decoration and homely feeling made me feel comfortable and relaxed throughout my stay. The ample furnishings and beautiful photographs added a touch of charm to the overall ambiance. Moreover, the easy accessibility of the general areas, such as the patio and pool area, made it convenient for seniors to move around without any difficulties. The thoughtful design and layout of the villa truly catered to the needs of older guests.
A minor suggestion for improvement would be to have handrails installed in certain areas to provide additional support for senior guests. It would have been beneficial for those of us who may require a little extra assistance navigating the stairs or moving around the pool area.

The property was close to the airport and Chania, with easy access to the main road. Clean, comfortable with great beds, showers, and air con. Perfect for families with older children. Great hosts, responded to queries. Visited Lake Kournas, Falasarna beach, Limoupoulis Waterpark, and went on a boat trip with Captain Nick. Ate at Aptera restaurant, great food and company. Fabulous holiday, would love to return.
Nothing that I didn't like.

The air conditioning and flat-screen TV added to the comfort. The outdoor dining area, sun loungers, and beach umbrellas were an added bonus. The location was conveniently close to Chania's old town. A truly amazing place to stay and enjoy a fantastic holiday experience!

The location of this villa was absolutely mind-blowing! We were blown away by the magnificent mountain views to the south and the stunning sea views towards Akrotiri to the north. The two good tavernas, Greek cafe, and mini-market within walking distance were super convenient. Being just a short drive away from Chania Venetian Harbor, ancient site of Aptera, and beach resorts of Kalyves and Almyrda made it the perfect base for exploring. The hosts were incredibly kind and generous, and the gardens and swimming pool were lovely. The house itself had a charming and historic feel with a spacious balcony and rooftop terrace. The well-equipped kitchen, air conditioning, and other amenities added to the overall comfort of our stay. The private barbecue area and wood-burning pizza oven were a bonus, and we loved lounging by the beautiful swimming pool. This was truly an outstanding, rural, and spectacular experience that exceeded our expectations!

The charming and traditional decoration of Villa Athina made me feel right at home. The cozy furnishings and lovely Mediterranean vibe created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The general areas of the villa were well-maintained and clean, providing a comfortable space to relax and enjoy the stunning surroundings. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated the accessibility of the villa. The furniture and amenities were thoughtfully arranged, making it easy for me to move around and feel secure during my stay.
If I had to ask for one thing to make the vacation even better for senior people, it would be to have handrails or additional support in the bathrooms. This would provide added safety and convenience, especially when using the showers or getting in and out of the bathtub.

My week-long stay at Villa Athina was absolutely amazing! The property's location was perfect, offering stunning views of the snowy mountains and the hot summer sun. The owner was incredibly helpful and friendly, even taking the time to change the bed sheets and tidy the entire villa. I loved the double and single rooms with their balconies, as well as the rooftop terrace that provided a beautiful view of the island. The BBQ facilities and swimming pool were both clean and well-maintained. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend Villa Athina.

We got great value for our money at Villa Athina. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the pool was fantastic. The location was perfect, with beautiful views of the mountains and a peaceful village atmosphere. The staff, especially Michail, were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.
The breakfast experience could have been improved with a wider variety of options.
